What is a chemical peel?
Medical chemical peels remove impurities and imperfections in the top layer of your skin. This stimulates the production of fresh, new skin underneath.

What does a chemical peel treat?
Chemical peels treat fine lines and wrinkles, poor texture, sun damage, melasma, and acne scarring.

What chemical peels do you offer?
We currently offer the ZO 3 Step Peel and the ZO Simulator Peel.

ZO 3 Step Peel: This premium, deep medical peel is performed in three key stages. It is ideal for skin concerns such as melasma, sun damage, fine lines, texture problems, large pores, acne, and dullness. This peel requires the client to have been previously on a steady daily regimen of retinol or tretinoin cream.

ZO Stimulator Peel: This is a mild strength peel that leaves your skin visibly brighter. This peel has ZERO downtown with no peeling, shedding, or flaking skin post procedure. The instant glow that this peel gives lasts for about 7 days post procedure and can be done weekly.

What is the recovery of a chemical peel?
The ZO 3 Step Peel has a 7-10 day recovery period with day 3-5 being the worst shedding days. We recommend adjusting your schedule around your social calendar when considering this peel. Maximum results are achieved around day 28 of this peel.

The ZO Stimulator Peel has no downtime and no shedding. It is often considered a great “lunchtime” peel due to the quick procedure and radiant glow achieved immediately after.

Do these peels hurt?
Mild strength peels usually report some mild stinging and tingling sensations. However, the deep medical grade peel does have some moderate to intense tingling, stinging, and burning sensations during the procedure. A cool air fan is utilized to help reduce the sensations and ease discomfort. Your skin may also feel sore and tender similar to a sunburn for the first few days post procedure. Most clients tolerate these procedures well and are repetitive users of these procedures due to their amazing results.
