How does it work?
Morpheus8® uses tiny insulated needles to deliver radiofrequency heat deep into the skin. These needles create controlled micro injuries while the heat stimulates collagen and elastin production beneath the surface.

When used at deeper levels, Morpheus8® can also target subdermal fat, helping to refine areas of mild fullness such as under the chin while tightening the surrounding skin.

How long is the treatment?
Treatment time varies depending on the area being treated and your customized plan.
Your appointment includes approximately one hour for topical numbing to maximize comfort. The Morpheus8® treatment itself typically takes about 45 minutes for the face and neck.
Larger body areas may require additional time based on the size and number of areas being treated.
How many treatments will I need?
For optimal results, we typically recommend a series of three treatments spaced about 4 to 6 weeks apart. This allows your skin time to rebuild collagen between sessions while progressively improving firmness and texture.
After your initial series, yearly maintenance treatments may be recommended based on your individualized treatment plan, skin condition, and long-term goals.

What is the recovery like?
Recovery after Morpheus8® is typically very manageable.
You can expect 1 to 3 days of redness and mild swelling. Some patients experience light pinpoint scabbing or mild flaking that can last up to a week as the skin naturally renews itself. It is normal for the skin to feel warm, tight, or slightly sensitive in the first few days.
Most patients feel comfortable returning to normal daily activities within a couple of days. Makeup can usually be applied 48 hours after treatment unless otherwise directed by your provider.
At The Refinery, you will go home with a curated post-treatment care kit to support proper healing and optimize your results.
To enhance collagen stimulation and support faster recovery, we often recommend adding PRP or EXOIE exosomes to your treatment. These advanced regenerative options help calm inflammation, accelerate healing, and further improve overall skin quality.
Does it hurt?
Each appointment includes approximately one hour of topical numbing to ensure the treatment is very tolerable. For patients who would like additional support, we also offer ProNox for relaxation during the procedure.
Most patients describe the sensation as moderate pressure with areas that feel warm or spicy at times. Discomfort is typically mild depending on the treatment depth and area, but with proper numbing in place, it remains very manageable for most patients.

When will I see results?
