Will my skin peel afterward?
Most patients experience little to no visible peeling. The ZO Stimulator Peel is often called the “lunchtime peel” because it brightens and refreshes the skin with minimal downtime. While an occasional patient with very dry or compromised skin may notice slight flaking, most simply leave with a beautiful, healthy glow.
Is there any downtime?
Downtime is minimal. Mild redness may occur immediately after treatment but usually resolves within a few hours. Most patients leave with smoother, brighter, glowing skin and are comfortable returning to work or their daily activities.
Can I wear makeup afterward?
Because your skin has just been freshly exfoliated, we recommend allowing it to breathe for the remainder of the day whenever possible. However, if you’re heading back to work, out to lunch, or have somewhere to be, we’d be happy to apply Colorescience® Flex after your treatment. It provides beautiful, breathable coverage while offering SPF protection—just let your aesthetician know before your appointment ends.
How often should I have this facial?
