Amanda Horn

Amanda followed an unconventional route to medicine, first earning a Bachelors and Masters Degree in education. After her own struggles with hormone and metabolic health, she pursued a Bachelors of Nursing from Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska, and began a career in women’s health. She later earned her MSN from Frontier Nursing University, and is a practicing APRN Midwife in Tennessee. Amanda enjoys helping clients understand how different components of their healthcare are intertwined, and the transformative nature of effective hormone and weight management treatments. A focus on women’s health and hormone optimization means an effective plan of care to help you meet your weight and energy goals!
Amanda is happily married to Jake, and the joyful mama to sweet little William. She and her family reside in Powell. Originally from coastal North Carolina, she loves exploring her husband’s native home of East TN, and is a proud Vol for Life!
