Hair PRP

Stimulate. Restore. Regrow.

Hair thinning doesn’t happen overnight, and meaningful improvement takes time. Hair PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma) uses the healing and growth factors found in your own blood to support healthier follicles, encourage thicker hair growth, and improve overall hair density. It is a natural, non-surgical treatment designed for both men and women experiencing thinning hair.

During your appointment, your blood is drawn and processed to concentrate the platelet-rich plasma (PRP). That concentrated PRP is then carefully injected into areas of thinning hair to stimulate the follicles and support the natural hair growth cycle. Hair PRP is often most effective when started early and paired with a customized treatment plan and home care recommendations.

A healthier scalp creates the foundation for healthier hair. While results develop gradually, Hair PRP can help improve hair thickness, density, and overall scalp health with minimal downtime.

Natural Growth. Lasting Confidence.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is Hair PRP?

Hair PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma) is a regenerative treatment that uses the healing growth factors from your own blood to stimulate dormant or weakened hair follicles. Because PRP comes from your own body, it is a natural treatment with little risk of allergic reaction.

Who is a good candidate?

Hair PRP is ideal for many men and women experiencing early to moderate hair thinning or increased shedding. During your consultation, we’ll determine whether PRP alone is appropriate or if other medical therapies or treatments should be combined for optimal results.

How many treatments will I need?

Hair restoration is a process, not a one-time treatment. We typically recommend a series of 3 to 6 treatments, spaced approximately 6 to 8 weeks apart, depending on the degree of hair thinning and your treatment goals. Maintenance treatments may be recommended to help preserve your results.

How long does the appointment take?

Your Hair PRP appointment typically takes 60 to 75 minutes. This includes your blood draw, PRP preparation, and scalp injections.

Does Hair PRP hurt?

Most patients tolerate the procedure well. You may experience brief pinching or pressure during the injections. For additional comfort, ProNox® (a patient-controlled nitrous oxide and oxygen system) is available during treatment for those who would like it.

When will I see results?

Hair grows in cycles, so improvement is gradual. Many patients begin noticing decreased shedding within the first few months, with visible improvements in thickness and density often developing around 3 to 6 months after beginning treatment. Results continue to improve as additional treatments are completed.

Is there any downtime?

Downtime is minimal. Mild tenderness, redness, swelling, or soreness of the scalp is common for the first day or two. Most patients return to normal activities immediately following treatment.

Can Hair PRP be combined with other treatments?

Absolutely. Hair PRP is often combined with prescription therapies, medical-grade hair care products, nutritional support, and other regenerative treatments to maximize results. During your consultation, we’ll discuss the underlying causes of your hair loss and create a personalized treatment plan to give you the best opportunity for long-term success.
